    • How can a probiotic support my immune system? What's the link between gut health and my immune system?

      Your gut wall houses 70% (some say as much as 80%) of the cells that make up your immune system. With such a direct connection, your immune system will be heavily impacted by the health of your gut.

    • Why is vitamin D so important for my immune system? Why do I need it in supplement form?

      Vitamin D3 offers many well-known health benefits. It is known to help strengthen bones and muscles, support the immune function, increase mood, aid in weight loss, and improve heart function. Your skin naturally produces vitamin D in response to sunlight or ultraviolet light. However, during the darker months of the year, October-April, we are advised to supplement our Vitamin D. Adults over the age of 65 are encouraged to supplement with vitamin D year-round.

    • Your probiotic supplement contains Vitamin D3? Is vitamin D3 better than D2?

      Vitamin D3 appears to be more effective at increasing levels of vitamin D in the blood when compared to vitamin D2.

    • Is your Vitamin D3 in your probiotic supplement vegan?

      Yes, our vitamin D3 comes from a plant-based algae source. In fact, both products are completely vegan.

    • How should I take your Immunity Shield powder supplement?

      Our sachet powders are super versatile. They mix well at both room temperature and in hot water. They are heat resistant and make an exceptional fruit tea as each powder has a wonderful flavour. They are delicious in freshly squeezed juice or as part of a smoothie. (We have some great smoothie recipes, just ask our customer service for them.) You can also mix them with your greek yoghurt or your porridge oats. Adapt them to your lifestyle.

    • When should I start supporting my immune system?

      We tend to suffer more colds and sniffles in the darker months of the year. You can start taking our Immunity Shield during these months as a preventative measure. You can also start taking them at the first signs of a cold and for the duration until you feel better.

    • I have a really bad cold, can I take more than one immune supporting sachet?

      We recommend you take 1/day as per the dosage suggested on the box.
